Trick-or-treat is crazy enough, with ghosts and goblins and witches and warlocks and all manner of other horrors roaming the streets. But in Oxrun Station, the masks aren’t always made of rubber.

In his new hometown, British teenager Sam Jones discovers that a legendary backwoods bogeyman has risen from the grave to seek revenge against those who put him there . . .

The fabric of the cosmos is unravelling and dark and dangerous things are leaking across the borders . . . For five unsuspecting teenagers, their lives will never be the same again as they discover the hidden terrors lurking beneath the surface of their quiet town and experience the most horrifying Halloween of them all . . .

Today was SUCH a beautiful day, seriously. After weeks of nothing but gloomy weather and just a tease of sunshine, it finally stuck all day and the weather was all around gorgeous. The best part of Texas is sometimes being able to wear shorts and flip flops in February :D Pants for the lose.

Today was Mission : Fix Ericka's Sleep Schedule - Take Two. My Mom woke me up pretty early considering when I finally got to sleep last night and took me to Wal-Mart with her. After that she treated me to lunch at Sonic and then we came back to clean. And clean. And cleaaaaaaaaan.

I decided it was waaaaay too pretty outside to stay indoors so I went outside to play with big fat Sadie. I took a few pictures and ended up liking this one :)

Now I'm just relaxing until a suitable bedtime ... I'm SO tired.


And I still have to make my bed ........ :.

June 1, 2011... after a heavy rain mid morning, the sun came back at least part time over Glenwood, Washington.. while storm clouds whipped around on the horizons in all directions. Birds sang joyfully and flowers glistened. I spent the day laying around in the woods, by ponds, camera pointing up and down at random... beauty was everywhere and my soul feels washed clean by all the fresh mountain air and beauty

This variety of Lupine is only a few inches tall and is often seen along roadsides around and above Trout Lake and Glenwood
